APC Family Blog: The Christmas Festivities Begin….

We left Colorado and headed straight to my parents house in Utah! My whole family was spending Christmas there together. Honestly, being with my family was the only thing that helped me get through the moving heartache. We had such a fun couple of weeks together and were so sad when it was all over! Here’s a quick run down….

DEC 23rd-Everyone Arrived

By the 23rd we were all in Utah and it was time for the festivities to begin. We hung out at mom and dad’s and all got “reaquainted”! it was so fun to see the kids pick up right where they left off with all their cousins!

Look at these CHUBBY BUBBIES!! Well, look at the one Chubby Bubby! Noah is 7 weeks younger than Avery and is a chub-a-lub! They are such cute little babies! Avery 5 months and Noah 3 1/2 months.

DEC 24th- CHRISTMAS EVE

Christmas Eve was a VERY eventful day! Auntie Julie had a fabulous idea that we go to Build A Bear and have the kids each build a bear to donate to the children’s wing of the hospital. The kids loved picking out their bear and took care in stuffing and dressing it to give to a child who had to be in the hospital over Christmas. It was a great day to start off our day!

Later in the afternoon we headed up to Heber to go on a sleigh ride. Before we left we had a visit from two of Santa’s Elves who dropped off some CANADA tuques for everyone to wear to stay warm! We all looked very festive and Canadian in our matching hats!

When we got home from the sleigh ride we had a yummy Christmas Eve dinner and another special visit from the man himself! That’s right, the real Santa stopped by to see us! He took time with each of the kids and brought gifts for everyone! After he left we opened the traditional Jammies from Nana and then we ALL went from Julie and TJ’s house to Nana and Granddad’s to go to bed!
