One of the days in Utah we all went to the Marriott Center to watch the BYU Women’s Basketball team. TJ and Steve’s friend from work was one of the referee’s and the kids loved that they “knew” her even though only the Brinks and the Empelstien’s actually did. The Cougars won and Annie was fascinated by it all. With her LOVE of Basketball this may have catepolted her loved of the game and desire to get a Basketball Scholarship from a dream to an obsession! :-) Nothing wrong with a little encouragement, right?
Since the place was practically empty due to the Winter Break and, well, let’s face it, it’s Women’s Basketball, we had the place pretty much to ourselves. We sat right up close and the kids even found their way to the comfy chairs that are usually awarded to contest entrants at the Men’s games!
After the victory we headed off to FAT BURGER for some yummy and fattening burgers and fries!
