Huey Lewis and the Who???

This past weekend, Adam and I headed off to Arizona for a Marcus and Millichap Managers Meetings and Awards Banquet! While Adam was in meetings for 2 of the 3 days, I had a blast hanging out with all the wives/girlfriends/fiances of the other managers! This is the same group of people we go to Hawaii with every year and I love them all to death! This is the first year (since Adam's been in management) that the firm has had an awards banquet and was it ever fun!I was able to spa on Thursday, golf and shop on Friday, and meet Shae (hadn't seen her in almost 10 years) and Aunt Peri for lunch (could kick myself for not taking a picture with them) on Saturday. After meetings ended Friday, Adam was able to golf on Saturday and together we were able to have some great dinners and even better company with all the M&M people each night. Saturday night, the Awards Banquet Night we enjoyed watching the awards being presented and afterwards partied with all the managers, agents and guests till the wee hours of the morning. The entertainment???? you ask was Huey Lewis and the News!!! It was awesome! Some of the people there were so young they didn't know who he was. Hilarious! Made us feel old! Anyway, enjoy the pics! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

After all the drama of the Denver Snow Storm(s) and getting us all to California for Christmas we ended up having a wonderful Christmas and New Years! One of the highlights of the week was a trip to San Diego and a day at Sea World, courtesy of Papa and Grandma! (Thank you! We LOVE you!) The whole family was there and it was a blast hanging out and seeing the kids play together. It amazes me that even though they don't see eachother very often, they always seem to pick up right where they left off! Another highlight was spending time with Daniel and his wife Jill. Since they were married in October of 2005, we haven't had the chance to spend any time with them. We had a blast getting to know Jill and seeing Daniel as "a married man". Jill and I had a blast figuring out that we have, among other things, a very important trait in common...we both LOVE to shop and we seem to have the exact same taste! In one of the montage pictures you'll see a picture of Adam and I with Dan and Jill. Jill and I have on the same sweater and Daniel and Adam have on matching ones too. We bought them at Target but picked them out separate of each other! It was hilarious!

Anyway, thank you to Papa and Grandma for hosting such a fabulous week, to Ryan and Nicole for being so fun to hang out with, to Laura for always having a smile on her face, you truely put a spring in my step just thinking about you, and to Dan and Jill for hanging with all the crazy Christoffersons! WE LOVE YOU ALL and MISS YOU A TON! As Garett said to me about an hour ago "Mom, I still miss Ben".... We still miss all of you!

HAPPY New Year

We had so much fun on New Years Eve! Papa and Grandma, Laura and Kevin, Laura's friend Jackie, Ron and Sue Robles, Adam, the kids and I all went over to Ryan and Nicole's to hang out, eat and play games! We had a blast! Kevin did magic tricks for the kids, Jackie kicked our butts playing the 80's trivia game and the kids (Spencer, Annie, Garett, Amber and Justin) stayed up with us to bring in the New Year! Heaping Piles of Snow

We arrived home last night around 7:30 and I couldn't resist taking a few pics of all the snow! It was unbelievable how much there is! These pics don't even do it justice. There is soooo much snow... and its had 3 days to melt already!

These are the shoveled sidewalks. Look how high the snow is on either side!

Somewhere in this picture of our front lawn you can see the antlers of our lighted reindeer!He is one of those who is standing erect on all 4's with his head high in the air. He got buried or drowned... we don't know yet if he will still work! It may be months before we find out!
