After our fun two week vacation it was time to head for home. We left on Saturday around noon and had made plans to stop in St. George to visit one of Adam’s favorite mission companions, Jeff Johanson, and his family. “Elda” (that’s what Adam and Jeff call each other and have since their missions) Jeff and his wife, Monica were some of our good friends during our college days and though we’ve kept in touch via Christmas Cards and phone calls here and there, we hadn’t seen them in years! Adam was able to visit them a few years ago when he was on a business trip but for the most part we’d never seen their kids (they have 5, expecting their 6th), and they’d never met ours! It was so fun to see them and catch up with them and their family. It always amazes me how some friends can be just like family. It doesn’t matter how much time passes, you are always the best of friends! The Johanson’s are like those kinds of friends!
