Oh boy do I ever feel out of it! My life is a whirlwind of adventure right now and I know I’m SOOOOO far behind in my blogging. I just went on my google reader website to catch up on reading everyone’s blogs. Guess how many I have to read? Just guess?
ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY!
Yes people, that’s right! I have 140 blogs to read. PLUS my own entries to post! I’m SOOOOOO far behind but promise that one of these days I’ll start working on getting caught up!
In the mean time, to those who are wondering how and what we’re doing, a very brief summary of our lives since leaving CO exactly 1 month ago.
-we spent a fabulous Christmas and New Years in UTAH with my entire Family!
-the kids and I stayed in Utah for extra week while Adam headed for Cali to start work.
-drove to Cali with the kids and spent a few days with Gramma and Papa.
-drove up to see the house we’re buying (yes I LOVED it) and registered the kids for school.
-kids started school (VERY different from CO schools…actually harder surprisingly). They are all doing extremely well.
-moved into our comfy little hotel that will be our home for the next 3 weeks
-waiting for the day when I can feel like I’m “home” as I’m physically aching for CO. This move has brought new meaning to the word heartbroken! It’s a very real, physical feeling!
AND finally…
-determined not to be a Debbie Downer, lift my chin up and move forward!
Love to you all! I’ll get back up to speed with you all soon!

got your msg last night. Glad you're doing well. HOpe to see you in February! I will call you asap.
Love you! Hang in there. You will soon be in the throws of organizing your new digs and when you do I will come and visit you because for some reason I don't think there is any room in your hotel! HaHa! LOVES
I love you! You'll all be okay!!!!!! It'll just take some time!
Love you, too! So do you have pics of the outside of your house you can post?? I will be patient though and wait if you are planning a later post on the new house! Would love to see it!
Since I cannot even say Debbie Downer and Marilee Christopherson in the same sentence without laughing, I seriously doubt you could ever be anything of the kind. But moving is hard. Even our little itty bitty baby move we had in June had me tearing up on our first Sunday in the "new" ward--full of people I've known for years!
I could have told you Cali schools were MUCH HARDER than those here. When my family moved here from Westlake when my little sister was in 3rd grade, she went from being in the bottom of her class to the shining pupil--for about a year and a half--which is what I figure the difference to be. Your kids just moved up a full grade at least.
Good luck to you and I hope the house is ready for you soon. Be sure and take lots of pictures!
Wow! You have been busy. We miss you guys too. Ben always talks about how the bishopric meetings aren't the same without Adam there. It's hard to move, but it's a new adventure. I love it here...but am jealous that you get to have a "fresh start". Good luck!
I am so excited for you to get into your house...seems like that will help distract your poor heart as you settle in. Love you.
Oh, you make me sad. I have been heart broken like that before and you do make it through.. just with some of your heart left behind for your friends. Love ya-- hope all is well.
I know you've been a bit busy, but when are you going to post pictures of your house? I want to know about your life there! Miss you!!!!
