Easter Sunday is always one of our families favorite Sundays of the year. There is always a special spirit about the day as we think of our Savior and enjoy the blessings of being with our family. To top it off it is usually one of the most beautiful and sunniest days of the year! This year we loved our Easter Sunday but were sorely disappointed when we woke up to yet another SNOW STORM. What is with this crazy weather?
Despite the weather, we still had a wonderful day! The Adam and I made the kids a pancake breakfast after their easter egg hunt and then we all played with Spencer and Annie's Super Stackers. It's a game the kids learned how to play in PE at school and the Easter bunny brought them each their own set. Now they can play whenever they want. I'll post some pictures of the stackers later.
Eventually it ws time to get ready for church. The kids dressed in their new Sunday clothes and for the first time, Spencer was less than thrilled to be matching his little brothers. He said he felt like a baby! I promised him that the next time I would be sure not buy exactly the same outfits but asked if I could buy him something the same color as the boys. He said that would be fine! I totaly remember when I was around his age and asked my mom to stop making match my sisters. The funniest part of the story is that we got to church and two other boys were dressed exactly like my boys, one being Spencer's best friend! HILARIOUS! He didn't feel so much like a "baby" after that!! But I'll still try to stop buying them matching outfits!:-).

After church we had a nice Easter Dinner with our good friends the Petry's and the Jensen's. We're so blessed to have such good friends to spend the holidays with when we'd normally be spending with our family if we lived close. It helps us not miss family so much on those days!!
Anyway, it was a great day and to all my fans Happy Easter!!

I love the outfits. I almost got those for my boys. I LOVE Annie's dress and shrug. Very very cute. I'm glad you had a Happy Easter.
